This October, Viva Acid is back with their highly anticipated fourth edition of their annual talks and workshop series. As trailblazers in Chicago’s cultural scene, Viva Acid will immerse you in the city’s captivating acid house movement from October 3rd – 6th at the Podlasie Club.
The 2024 theme; “Transcending Scarcity to Build Resilient, Flourishing Ecosystems through Collective Creativity,” promises to be both inspiring and transformative. Prepare for a dynamic array of events, workshops, and discussions designed to spark innovation and foster community. Topics will range from Maximising Reach to Marketing Authenticity while workshops will delve into music production techniques, including Approaching Remixing and Creating What You Hear. The event kicks off on Thursday, October 3rd with the premiere of Children Of Acid, a compelling documentary exploring the past and future of Chicago’s acid house scene. Produced in collaboration with Baffe, this film promises an in-depth look at the genre’s evolution.
