Chromatics, made up of Ruth Radelet, Johnny Jewel, Adam Miller & Nat Walker, share new single & video “Time Rider” & announce a North American tour.
In “Time Rider”, Chromatics employ the metaphor of a motorcycle as an inter-dimensional bridge between the future and the past. In this dream, the motorcyclist mirrors myths of the grim reaper as Ruth Radelet eerily asks “Can I take your hand? I want to ride with you into the storm.”
Chromatics announce their first public concerts in over 5 years. The last time Chromatics was on stage was for the filming of their Roadhouse appearances in David Lynch’s Twin Peaks. This six week North American tour will be the first time the band performs live with vocalist Ruth Radelet in many of the cities. Onstage, the group will be playing their favorite moments from Night Drive, Kill For Love, Cherry, & Dear Tommy.
Montreal’s Desire will be performing in direct support of Chromatics. Front woman Megan Louise sings in French and English over Italo Disco laced Dream Pop. Their single “Under Your Spell” made a splash on the silver screen in Nicolas Winding Refn’s cult classic Drive alongside label mates Chromatics, Electric Youth, & Kavinsky.
From Vancouver, B.C., Italians Do It Better label mates In Mirrors open the nights with their hypnotic brand of Minimal Wave, Krautrock, and Post Punk.
Visually, the entire night features films directed by Johnny Jewel mixed live by video artist Danny Perez (Antibirth, Panda Bear). Bringing a cinematic experience to the concerts, the bands will be blurring the line between stage and screen. European tour dates are set to be announced soon.

More information on elrow: elrow is an award-winning experiential event concept and party series founded in 2010 by Cruz and Juan Arnau Lasierra; the sixth generation from a dynasty of entrepreneurs also responsible for creating MonegrosFestival and legendary ClubFlorida135 in Fraga, Spain. From their head-quarters in Barcelona, elrow have taken the world by storm with their unforgettable party style, pairing elaborate production, interactive performers and zany characters with the best electronic music, placing them as a global reference for circus inspired parties with tickets to the visual spectaculars usually selling out in minutes. A myriad of different themes and concepts makeup elrow’s zeitgeist with sub-brands including ‘Rowlympics’; their own take on the Olympicgames, their Brazilian jungle carnival theme, ‘Sambodromo de Brasil’ and flag-ship theme ‘Singermorning‘.
With lauded residencies in Ibiza, Madrid, London and Amsterdam already in place, 2017 has seen a game-changing partnership with live entertainment platform, Providence–Superstruct, allowing elrow to push to new heights with a Shangai debut and a festival-scale event at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in August.
Cambridge-based alternative trio, Goldblume, release the second single ‘We All Know Why And Who’, taken from the bands upcoming debut album, HUSK. The album is set for a 9th November 2018 release through Aaahh!!! Real Records.
Watch the official video for ‘We All Know Why And Who’ by Goldblume below –
HUSK is a record which encourages you to be kinder to you, and to better understand the mental state of other people, as well as your own. Recorded by David Leighton at River Run Studios in Potton, Cambridgeshire and self-produced and mixed by the band themselves at guitarist Jethro’s home studio, these 10 tracks are a dichotomy—bold, emotional and powerful, but also intricate and delicate. The new album is a three-year journey into trying to find a sense of self and connecting it to the face you see in the mirror.
In support of HUSK, the band will take to the road throughout November: 08 Nov – Cambridge, Portland Arms 11 Nov – Ipswich, Smokehouse 12 Nov – Brighton, Pipeline 13 Nov – Bath, St James Wine Vaults 15 Nov – Leicester, Vault 16 Nov – Peterborough, Ostrich Inn 17 Nov – Bury St Edmunds, Hunter Club 22 Nov – Hertford, Dog and Whistle 24 Nov – Haverhill, Arts Centre
