Ambient musician Tom Ashbrook shares title song for upcoming album

Producer Tom Ashbrook has shared the title track for his upcoming album, ‘Sines’ via The Other Songs. The track was premiered via Clash Magazine who called it, “Atmospheric, haunting harmonies layer up to open the track, vocal loops building to meet delicate, lilting keys”. The first track of the upcoming album, ‘Toon Soon’ recently premiered on Vents Magazine.

Receiving support from Son of Marketing, Mr Foxx Frequency and Music Week will put Tom Ashbrook’s music at the ears of thousands. However, it’s some of the smaller publications who have gotten to know the producer better. “Ashbrook has a clear gift for luring out emotions and invoking feelings of all things beautiful, through his music”. Music Producer Methyl Ethel Announce London Headline Show & European Tour with Mac DeMarco

Methyl Ethel, the musical project of Jake Webb, has announced details of a special headline London show at Peckham Audio on 19th November. This will be the first outing as a duo, where Webb will be joined onstage by regular live band member Thom Stewart. Methyl Ethel’s latest album Triage is the third of a triptych Webb started with Oh Inhuman Spectacle (2015) and continued with Everything Is Forgotten (2017) which was named Best Independent Album by AIR, the Australian Independent Record Labels Association. Methyl Ethel has always been a surrealist outfit – a dark and obscured expression of life set to the backdrop of dream pop hooks. But Triage is a more reflective album – one that explores the notion of coming of age, only to reference it for the snapshots and passing memories that it has become.

DEAD METHOD returns with his new single BLONDE. An exploration of body dysmorphia in the digital age and how social media influencers can negatively affect our mindset by offering up seemingly perfect bodies and lives for the consumption of a hungry audience around the world 24/7.

Set against a backdrop of aggressive synths, this wild and vigorous track relentlessly hits home with a catchy hook and soaring vocals. Produced, mixed and mastered by Minas who also co-wrote the song.

Dead Method is an unstoppable force of experimental art-pop. In the last twelve months, he has been working closely with Forte Project supported by Arts Council of Wales and PRS for Music Foundation which has put him at the forefront of the Welsh music scene with his unique experimental-pop sound.

AUST shares buzzing new single ‘The Hive’

Hailing from Neuchâtel, Switzerland, AUST’s two track EP The Hive was recently released via Enhanced Music’s Enhanced Chill. With a string of previous releases under his belt, his work has previously been compared to artists such as Fakear, Petit Biscuit and Møme.

AUST’s sound is characterised by intricate loops, electronic embellishments and textured soundscapes. The Hive is somewhat of an ode to his home, a place of refuse that obviously inspires him greatly.

He explains: ‘The Hive’ refers to the new place me and my wife live in. It’s a tiny house surrounded by wild nature where I recorded some sounds that are featured on both songs. I’ve also just built a second studio there to focus on new inspirations. The place was full of bees during the summer (which is unfortunately uncommon those days) and the chorus on The Hive took me back to those sounds.”
