UK Techno Star ADRIANNA Unleashes ‘ADRIANNARCHY

ADRIANNA‘s first album, ADRIANNARCHY, was released on 23 October through TMPL Music after a seven-week remix campaign which included reworks by Wehbba, T78, Alex Stein, Christian Smith, Drunken Kong and The Obsessed. The UK techno artist, who is known for her careful production and energetic DJ sets, has established a solid position in the European club and festival scene. Her standing has been strengthened by endorsements from Charlotte de Witte, Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati and Nicole Moudaber. The album has received media attention with a cover appearance in Vicious Magazine and articles in DJ Mag Netherlands, DJane Mag, Mixmag Brazil and Mixmag Germany. She has recently performed at E1 London, Eden Ibiza, Creamfields’ Steelyard and at Forbidden Forest’s Arcadia Spider, where she has shared the stage with Pan-Pot, UMEK and Alan Fitzpatrick.

‘Power Back’ begins with strong techno kicks and then builds in intensity as atmospheric layers, reverberating vocal fragments, and assertive piano chords are added. When the breakdown occurs, the percussion fades away, bringing forward ADRIANNA‘s vocal performance, after which the song rushes into a progressive techno drop driven by raw acid house basslines which echo the initial progression. The track fits in perfectly with the type of sound associated with Charlotte de Witte, Anyma, and T78. The album’s sound is based on strong techno kicks and a heavy low end, combined with detailed synth work, orchestral enhancements, and piano themes which alternate between tension and relaxation. Throughout its duration, the record expresses a clear rejection of convention in order to embrace personal autonomy.
