Renowned dance pop producer Shaun Frank drops intoxicating song

Music producer Shaun Frank has shared his latest single ‘Take Me Over’ via Physical Presents. Frank is well-known assisting with the production of dance-pop duo The Chainsmokers Billboard #1 and Diamond certified banger ‘Closer’. Frank currently sits on a stream rate over 15 million, and his previous single ‘On Your Mind’ featured on the Billboard Dance/Mixshow Airplay Charts for several weeks after its release.

Shaun Frank speaks about the new single, “This one was really fun. The track actually just started as a jam session with my buddy Ruben. I had just picked up this Arp2600 Synth and we were coming back from dinner and popped into the studio to jam on it. We ended up writing the chorus super quick, and I instantly knew we had something dope.”

‘Take Me Over’ does just that, once you hear it, it will linger in your mind with basslines that hook the listener during long after listening.

September 21, 2020 Indie band Homecamp releases emotional song ‘Thoughts Of You’

Indie band Homecamp releases emotional song ‘Thoughts Of You’

Homecamp is the side project of UK musician Adam Binder, frontman of indie/emo band Dearist (Spartan Records), and his friend, bassist Will Jones. The duo’s debut mini-album “Did We Return As Something Else” was mastered by Bob Cooper (Cult Dreams, Citizen, Self Defense Family) and will be released on November 13th via Wiretap Records.

The first single “Thoughts Of You” hit digital streaming sites on Wednesday, Sept 16th.

Of the new single, Adam says, “This was the last song written and recorded for the mini-album. I was listening back to what I already had for the release and I felt like it needed another song that leaned towards the rockier side of our sound. Something with drums. The songs on the mini-album stretch from floaty ambient arrangements to more mainstream indie rock jams and ‘Thoughts Of You’ definitely sits in the latter camp. As with most of the songs, this one started on the piano. I am by no means a pianist but I use the trial and error method of hitting random chord shapes in random rhythms until something sparks a feeling, and then I’m away.”

He adds, “As for the lyrics, they are a subject that I’ve never touched on before. The lyrics are a kind of message from future generations to the people of today, pleading with us to look after the planet better. I’ll be completely honest, this is not a subject I’ve really given much thought to until recently. A lot of my friends are vegetarian or vegan, in an effort to cut down on the amount of emissions they are responsible for. It’s a really easy way we can make a difference. My partner is vegetarian, so 90% of the time I live the same lifestyle, out of convenience anyway. But I’m starting to look at what I can do to leave this place in better shape. I think like most people I’ve been living in the dark and didn’t fully understand the weight of the problem, but all we need to do is educate each other. So that’s what I’m trying to do, in the way I know how. I’m trying really hard not to be preachy because it’s not something I really don’t like, but if I can spark a new thought with just one person, that’ll be a job done.”

Singer-songwriter Margot has shared her new single ‘Slow Down’ and it is sure to make you feel better if you suffering from a case of the blues, or a little stress. The single will feature on her debut EP release Make It Last, which is set to be released on the 9th of October.

POP Music adds, “Margot eases her listeners into her important message of self-love with gentle and lighthearted beats and vocals.”

The new single is intended to make you feel lighter, in Margot’s own words, “This song actually went through a long writing process. Frank Slimm and I started this one in April 2019 while I was still living in Berlin and it got shelved for months while we were working on other projects. When we dug it out again, I couldn’t believe we left it for so long! I drafted up a new set of lyrics and it all fell together in about two days. The song itself is about self-care and self-love, taking time out of the day to look after yourself and enjoy the little things, and to remind myself that the time I spend working on myself is just as important as the time I spend working on my career.”

With fragrant sounds and soaring vocals, Margot calms your world down for the next three minutes leaving the listener to hit the repeat function over and over again.
