‘Be The One You Are’ by Moon Rocket Delivers Melodic Power & Club Energy

Italian producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist Raffaele Scoccia, known to fans as Moon Rocket, made his vibrant return with ‘Be The One You Are’, on 15 October 2026 via Moon Rocket Music. This new single adds another chapter to a catalogue that has touched iconic labels like Defected, Nervous, Sony Italy, BBE, Hed Kandi and Soulfuric. Scoccia’s previous hit, ‘Reciprocity’, soared past 21 million streams and 250,000 Shazams, earning the title of Traxsource’s Best Afro House Track of 2020. His music has become a staple on BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra, with tastemakers like Pete Tong, Seth Troxler, Monki, Rickie, Melvin & Charlie and Craig Charles all spinning his tracks. Black Coffee and Seth Troxler have thrown their support behind his productions, while outlets such as Billboard, Traxsource, CLASH Magazine and Cultr have spotlighted his work. His sound has resonated on MadorasindaHouse, and his electrifying live sets have lit up venues from Output Brooklyn to Miami Music Week, ADE and Nikki Beach. Scoccia’s journey began at 15, when a piano from his parents sparked a passion for classical music, harmony and composition. Today, as a classically trained pianist and Hammond organ player, he shapes an Afro Melodic-Tech sound that weaves melodic complexity, rich instrumentation and irresistible club energy.

‘Be The One You Are’ pulses with a sleek Afro house groove, driven by a hypnotic midrange piano riff that locks in with the kick and off-beat percussion. Shakers and a warm, rounded bassline deepen the rhythm, while the piano shines as the melodic heart of the track. The vocals cut through as luminous, memorable hooks, channeling the R&B-inspired vibe of recent Adam Port and Stryv releases rather than the densely layered vocals of classic Afro house. Percussion evolves with understated finesse, sidestepping a traditional breakdown and keeping the energy high with a club-ready momentum that echoes HUGEL’s signature style.

Moon Rocket shared: “This track is about coming back to yourself. About letting go of the noise, the expectations, and the need to fit into someone else’s idea of who you should be. I wanted the music to carry that feeling of freedom — something melodic and uplifting, but with a deeper message underneath: when you stop pretending and start standing in your own name, you find your own rhythm.”
