CNFLNC producer CONFLUENCE has shared his new single, ‘My Everything’, a song that displays his talents and technique. A musician who knows how to work with vocals, CONFLUENCE gives them their own space in the mix. The vocal line takes center stage, holding the song together as synths dance around it. Full of interesting textures, the song overflows with warmth and volume.

Spilling over, the song is a melting pot of ideas that culminates in a climax that rushes headlong toward oblivion. The pace picks up and carries listeners across a landscape of ecstasy, where we are all too happy to lose ourselves. Finding our way back once more, we follow behind CONFLUENCE as he leads us through his exotic exhibition of auditory nuance.

The artist tells us how his song came about saying, “My Everything is a Progressive House and Melodic Techno track and a vibrant, positive and energetic track and I would describe it as my Summer Hit. I remember opening a random project that I started 2 years ago and decided to develop the idea and one week later, the track was completed. What inspired me when making My Everything is the vocal. At the beginning I wanted to use a vocal sample just to hear how it would sound if I was to work with a singer/songwriter and after finding the vocal line, I thought that this was actually perfect and from there I kept it and it became the official vocal of the track.”

Music producer Gryffin shares transcending dance song ‘Alive’

Production extraordinaire Gryffin has linked up with regular collaborator Calle Lehmann on new single ‘Alive’.

Steeped in emotion, ‘Alive’ is a rousing single that centres around poignant chords and Lehmann’s impassioned vocals. It follows ‘You Were Loved’, Gryffin’s mammoth collaboration with One Republic, with both tracks set to feature on his forthcoming sophomore album.

Gryffin made his breakthrough in 2016 with two singles showcasing his melodic take on dance music: ‘Heading Home’ ft. Josef Salvat (which shot to #1 on the Spotify US and Global Viral charts) and the Bipolar Sunshine collaboration ‘Whole Heart’. In addition, his 2017 smash single ‘Feel Good’ — with Illenium and Daya — peaked at #18 on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay charts. He then collaborated with pop icon Carly Rae Jepsen on ‘OMG’ and young Swedish talent Maia Wright on 2019 smash ‘Body Back’, both singles that featured on his acclaimed debut album Gravity

Stockholm artist Calle Lehmann has worked with Gryffin on more than one occasion, first lending his vocals to 2019’s ‘All You Need To Know’, a track that earned RIAA Gold certification and has since racked up 176 million global Spotify streams. More recently he featured on ‘After You’, Gryffin’s single with Jason Ross.

On ‘Alive’, Gryffin yet again proves why he is one of the most adored musical artists on the planet.

Duo Punctual share house remix of 2000’s Mario throwback song

UK DJ and producer duo Punctual have unveiled their new single ‘I Don’t Wanna Know’, a rework of the Mario classic of the same name.

Punctual transform ‘I Don’t Wanna Know’ from a mid-2000s R&B favourite to a melodic club jam, channelling raw emotion and infectious grooves into something made for the dancefloor.

Composed of Will Lansley and John Morgan, Punctual burst onto the scene in 2016 with debut single ‘Eva’, released through Becky Tong’s Juicebox label, which surpassed 5 million streams and garnered support from Zane Lowe, Pete Tong, Phil Taggart and more. They have since amassed millions of streams across their diverse back catalogue, kicking off the new decade with the euphoric ‘Imagine’, a single that drew support from BBC Radio 1 favourites Danny Howard and Scott Mills.

Crafted with the dancefloor in mind, ‘I Don’t Wanna Know’ is a club groover that loses none of the emotion of the original.
