Toronto, ON – On November 11, emerging Canadian pop artist Josh Alexander is set to release his inspiring new EP Forevermore via Believe Canada and all streaming platforms.

Produced by up-and-coming Johan Modrin, the six-track EP is daring, beautiful and brave. Within it, Josh has created a lyrical sensation that drives pop through the bass of a heartbeat, plucking those strings with each melody.

Forevermore takes a trip from a heartfelt opening on “Sincerely, Josh” to Hurricane, a driving pop anthem that was released earlier this year and is a homage to loved ones enduring hard times. The EP’s title track, “Forevermore”, is a perfect exit from this uplifting, creative twist on trendsetting vibrations, encapsulating emotions of undeniable love, power and vulnerability.

“This collection of songs is a letter to the ones I love,” says Josh Alexander. “I put my whole heart into this EP, and I can’t wait to bring you all on this journey with me, Forevermore.”

Before settling in Montreal, Josh was born and raised in a Latin Canadian household in Quebec City. The young creative has always surrounded himself with music and grew up constantly singing cover songs from his favourite acts including Coldplay and John Legend. Since his debut on Quebec singing competition La Voix, Josh’s passion for music has led him through various adventures, with the song Je serai là featured in the children’s film La course des Tuques. Later in 2019, Josh Alexander released Level Up which was just the beginning for this rising Quebec pop artist. With a voice that ties range and authenticity into a mesmerizing dance, this hot new artist is on the rise across Canada.

German alternative/dark-pop quartet Letters Sent Home have released their mighty new single ‘Fire’, taken from their upcoming new EP, Fire In Me, released 2nd December via new label home of Hassle Records.

celebration of the news, Letters Sent Home has also announced its debut UK live performance: the group will be supporting alt-rockers Blackout Problems at London’s Black Heart on 16th November.

The band comment: ““Fire” is a perfect introduction into that new mindset as it portrays a world full of hatred which can only be saved through love – the love we feel and especially give. “The fire in me is burning me to the ground”, meaning only love will be the end of me. I will not die with hatred in my heart.”

Fire In Me will be available as a limited vinyl release of 200 copies, pressed on crystal clear vinyl and handnumbered and signed by the band. Available exclusively from the Hassle Records store, the physical EP features new versions of Letters Sent Home‘s hit ‘Misery Loves Company, including a stripped-back version.

Letters Sent Home was formed in 2017 in Wolfsburg, based on the close bonds of friendship of Emily, Lara and Robin, quickly finding a fourth member in drummer Louis. The band began their journey fully in 2020 with their first single ‘Mosaic Mirror’ – and the process that the band have lived through can be described as a rollercoaster, full of highs and lows.

Driven by courageous ambition, Letters Sent Home came closer to their goals with their first, self-titled EP in late 2020, which served as the foundation for an incredibly successful 2021.

The group’s second EP, Misery Loves Company, offered a greater expansion of sound, but also two top-class guest features, underlining the band’s increasing heft. Besides Being As An Ocean‘s Joel Quartuccio, Letters Sent Home also teamed up with Halflives singer Linda Battilani. Both post-hardcore-infused alternative rock songs, they sit alongside the band’s synth-laden dark-pop influences, showcasing a fine modern pop-rock sound.

The Misery Loves Company EP led to national attention across key alternative media outlets and an ever-growing fanbase, as well as Hassle Records, their new label home for the third EP Fire In Me. A stunning listen, it’s a fine demonstration of Letters Sent Home‘s non-conforming rock sound and its strong lyrical identity.

Thematically the band touch on the topic of mental health, and vocalist Emily’s personal experiences. The band raise awareness on these themes not just through their music but with initiatives such as their Helpless But Hopeful Festivals and accompanying podcast.

Having now signed with established London-based independent label Hassle Records, Letters Sent Home look set to establish themselves as one of the most promising acts to watch out for over the coming year – new EP Fire In Me coming December 2022, with the quartet already working on crafting their debut album.

Letters Sent Home are:

Emily Paschke (Vocals)

Robin Werner (Guitar, Keys)

Louis Schramm (Drums)

Lara Ripke (Bass, Backing Vocals)

Multi-talented artist Russell Louder has shared their latest single ‘Come Around’ on the 16th of September under Lisbon Lux Records The Tiohtià:ke, Montreal, Canada-based, Russell Louder has many talents that include songwriting, producing, and performing.

Stream / Download: ‘Come Around’

The latest single is breathtakingly beautiful and memorable. The vocals are determined, sharp and robust like an anthem of soldiers going to war. The synthesis of the piano, the guitar, the vocals and the beat with striking elements of electronic produces a sound that is wonderfully progressive. The lyrics are about audacious conversations about blurring lines of accountability that are slightly dark but at the same time incredibly humorous. The artist’s lyrical mental vantage point is outstanding.

Russell Louder tells us eloquently the influences and paradigms surrounding the making of the single: “Come Around is a pop sharp-tongued symphonic play-by-play of a duplicitous figure in my life reeling me into their web of deceit. Instead of analyzing my experience, I used the writing of the song as a space for imagining what the other could have been thinking or strategizing”.

Creative singer ena mori releases new LP

Artist ena mori has released her brand new LP DON’T BLAME THE WILD ONE! which is 12 tracks long and takes you on a journey and encourages you to stand up for what you believe in.

Stream / Download: ‘DON’T BLAME THE WILD ONE!’

In the track ‘DBTWO!’ she portrays that something has this hold on her, trying to tell her what to do and how she should display herself in public. She wishes to be freed from this fake persona and just be herself. The song also shows her belief in the need to break away from this kind of influence. It is as if she bottled up these emotions until she exploded.

It is a song that you can relate to. We’ve all been made to feel that we cannot express ourselves because we might appear different. But what we really should be doing is what feels authentic and not care about what others think of us. The best thing we can do is just be our true selves.
